Galileo Galilei was an Italian astronomer, mathematician, and a physist. He was born on Febuary 15,1564, in Pisa, Italy. Galileo started his education with a tutor, but later moved to a monestary school. When he said he wanted to be monk, his parents moved to a regular school because they wanted him to earn money and monks don't get paid. Later, he took medical classes at the University of Pisa. He dropped out without a degree and studied math until he was old enough to get a job. Galileo was a teacher and a Professor of Mathematics and Philosophy. He helped discover what space is really like and the laws of pendulum. He changed the world of science forever.
